Booking Wedding Cars in Pakistan: Timing, Cars and Costs

In season — roughly November through March, and again in the wedding weeks after both Eids — the premium cars go first and they go early. Four to six weeks ahead is comfortable. Two weeks is possible. Three days is a matter of luck.

Out of season you can book much later, but the same weekend rule applies: Saturdays and Sundays fill before weekdays everywhere in the country.

If your date is fixed and the car matters to you, book the car when you book the hall. It costs nothing to hold and it removes a problem you do not need in the final fortnight.

Most families book in three parts. One premium car for the dulha — a Land Cruiser V8, a Toyota Prado, or a white Corolla Altis Grande, which remains the classic choice and looks right in photographs.

Two or three sedans for immediate family, usually Civics or Altis. These do the running between houses and the hall on the day and are the cars that actually get used most.

One Coaster or Hiace for the wider baraat. A Coaster carries twenty-two and a Hiace thirteen, and one of them is nearly always cheaper and better organised than six cars in convoy.

Every wedding car goes out washed and polished with a clean interior, and the driver is dressed for the occasion rather than for a normal working day. That is included, not an extra.

Flower decoration is arranged on request. We do not charge for fitting it; the flowers themselves are billed at cost. You are equally welcome to use your own decorator and we will make the car available to them beforehand.

Tell us the colour scheme if there is one. It costs nothing and it is the sort of detail that shows in photographs.

Wedding hire is quoted per event, not per hour. A rukhsati that runs two hours late is normal and it does not turn into an overtime argument at midnight.

Give the drivers the running order and the addresses in advance. On a multi-car booking the difference between a smooth day and a chaotic one is almost entirely whether the drivers know the plan.

Book the return legs too. Guests leaving a hall at one in the morning in an unfamiliar city is the part of the day people forget to plan.

Most weddings are not one day. Mehndi, barat and walima across a week means the same cars are wanted on three separate evenings, and booking them together is both cheaper and simpler than three separate arrangements.

Tell us the full week at the outset even if some details are unsettled. Holding the cars costs nothing and it removes the risk of the Prado being gone by the walima.

For out-of-town guests arriving by air, add the airport transfers to the same booking. It is the same fleet and the same coordination, and it saves you managing two suppliers in the busiest week of the year.
