Who runs this

Shaheen Travels & Rent A Car is owned and run by M. Jamal Wagan. The head office is at Jamilabad, Airport Road, Multan 60000 — ten minutes from Multan International Airport, which is where the fleet is kept and where the drivers are based.

We have two further branches, in Lahore and Islamabad. Those three are the whole of our physical footprint. We serve every other city in the country by sending the car and driver to you, and we say so plainly on every city page rather than implying a branch office that does not exist.

How we work

Every car goes out with a trained driver. There is no self-drive option, which means no security deposit, no licence check and no argument about a scratch at the end of the hire. It also means someone in the car knows the road — which matters on the motorway and matters a great deal more on the Karakoram Highway.

Our drivers are salaried staff who drive for us regularly, not people found for the day. On the northern routes in particular, the driver assigned to a job has done that road before.

Fares include fuel, motorway tolls and the driver's time. On overnight trips they include the driver's meals and accommodation too. There is no allowance to settle at the end and no tip expected.

What we will tell you honestly

If the Naran road is closed for the season, we will say so rather than take the booking. If a sedan will not get you to Lake Saif ul Malook, we will tell you before you pay, not at the trailhead. If the weather makes Murree a bad idea on a given Sunday, we will say that too.

Prices shown on this site are indicative "from" fares calculated from real road distances. The final fare is always agreed on the call before the car moves.
